We had a great party Star Wars party for Kael's birthday on Sunday. He has gotten so into Darth Vader ever since the Volkswagen commercial aired for the Super Bowl :) To those of you who couldn't make it or for those that want to re-live it :) here are some pictures...
We had "Han" Burgers, Carbonite Jell-O (with a frozen Han Solo), Sith Lord Double Light Sabers, Storm Trooper Salsa, Yoda Soda and Death Star Watermelon...

...then a special guest appeared...there was an epic battle between Darth Vader of the Dark Side and Kael Buck of the...um Good Side?...In the end Darth Vader felt defeated by the amount of Force Kael was using, so he rewarded him with his very own Darth Vader mask...

Taylor and I had so much fun throwing this party for Kael. We hope it is one that will stay with him for many years! He was so proud to of fought Darth Vader and when we asked him what he thought he said, "I was a little scared, but not that scared." Ha ha! I am so grateful for all of you who love and support our amazing 4 year old! Thank you!
